    Hey Everyone,

I plan to swap the transmission in my truck soon. Just wondering how long it will take to swap? Should I change any bearings/other things while I have it out?

    Thanks,

You could probably drop it out, put it back in 12 hours (shooting high) Depending if it's a 4x4 (assuming it's on your 07)

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
What are you swaping it with? Curious.

X2 on around 12hours. Some of the mounting bolts are a bitch to get in and torque. Make sure you have a good variety if tools. Swapping is pretty straight forward if you have the fsm. I wouldn't change any bearings or crack it open unless you know exactly what your doing. What's wrong with it?

IM swaping it with another(same) tranny. My reverse Snycro gear is messed. ( slips out of reverse and hard to get into reverse) and will sometime grind while changing gears. Also I need a new release bearing-throwout bearing, its squeaking like crazy. I didn't realize it would take that long. going to be $$$$
