Trimming question. Can I trim the body mounts?

Hey guys, after putting in some 1.25 wheel spacers im getting more scrub as the tires stick out that extra in and a quarter. Already trimmed the inner fenders quite a bit, I can still trim a bit more, and will probaply have too. Am I able to grind a bit of the body mount off? Included are three pictures, one from the tires view, and 2 of the body mount. Will this negatively affect the body ? Or have lots of people done this? My tires scrub on tight corners and cornering on speed bumps, or cornering into an uphill driveway. Worried I am going to pop my tire or damage it ! thanks !
