    So I've been wanting to do something different than the hook on my winch. I was at Demello Offroad and saw the Factor 55 on the owners 4Runner. It was pretty cool. I love the idea.

    But then I started looking at it online. If you put a D-ring on there, it could look like a binky.

    I hate giving the Dodge guys something to jerk off too since they cant seem to stand Toyotas and would love any opportunity to feel validated about driving a disappointment.

    Other than the rubber ring, I fail to see the advantage over a sturdy shackle through thimbled loop. And since I've never had an issue with my shackle rattling when drawn snugly (and no more) to the fairlead, I'll pass. A shackle left in the "Factor 55" will rattle and could be stolen easliy though.
