Wheel Type Ion 171

Hello Forum,

I am thinking of buying these wheels:







and I have a few questions regarding fitment. I have an '08 DCSB Prerunner with Billies @ 1.75 & Wheelers 3 leaf AAL added to my OE 3/1 leaf springs.

Current set up:



I have the OEM 16x7 (30mm offset) steelies & BFG A/T 265/75r16.
The Ion 171 wheels are 16x8 with a -5mm offset with a 108mm hub bore. I will have to get hub centric rings for the 2mm difference in order to not have vibes.

This means that these aftermarket wheels will stick out 1.377"'s just with the different offset. Add to that the .5" due to the wheel width going from 7 to 8"'s & it will stick out almost 1.9"'s more than my OE setup.

My concern is if the wheels will make contact with the fenders in a flex situation or going over big bumps where the suspension travel is greater than normal.

Not that I plan on doing THAT again but I didn't plan this either. LOL!

Anyone with a similar wheel setup have any issues with this?
