I'm looking to purchase some new wheels/tires, either SCS F-5, FJ TT, or TRD beadlocks. IIRC, the F-5 & TT, have a 4.5" BS, where my stock off-road's have a ~5.25"BS. Does my current spare also have 5.25" BS? How many people purchased 5 wheels just to have a spare that matches? If I don't buy a 5th wheel to match, any suggestions on a cheap 16x8, 4.5"BS, wheel to buy as a spare? What issues could I run in to if the wheels don't match, but the tires do. Seems like there could be problems in the front more than rear, but I'm not certain.

Additional info - I'm most likely wrapping them with Wrangler Duratracs 285/75-16 with my 3" OME lift & LR UCAs. Chopping off the spare guide tabs so the spare will fit (right?), and cab mount chop, if necessary.

Here are some specs for you for comparison sake:

    F-5
    16x8
    3.5" or 4.5" BS options
    slightly under 19lbs

    FJ TT
    16x7.5
    ~4.9" BS
    25.5lbs

    TRD Beadlock
    16x7.5
    4.6" BS
    26lbs

If you need a 5th wheel for a spare, sometimes we have blemished ones for sale at a discounted price. i don't know the the BS numbers for the spare, but you'll have to test it out for clearance on the UCA especially with 285s.
