Stupid question about mixing gear oils.

Like a idiot I ordered 1 less bottle of redline 70w95 then i needed Can I get a bottle of another synthetic. Say Lucas or Mobil1. Of the same weight oil and use them both. My instinct says yes dummy they're the same weight. Oil is oil. Just double checking to make sure this isn't a bad idea.

 

I would not mix oils. They are not the same thing. They could separate and cause mor problems.

 

I don't believe I would mix.....will it cause a problem ?? I don't know but just to be safe get another bottle....you'll feel better anyway

 

Better safe then sorry. I guess ill order a couple more bottles.
