    What's up TW?
I've recently been thinking about putting some strobes in the Tacoma. I've been a junior firefighter since I was a freshman in high school, and recently moved up to being an actual firefighter when I turned 18. I am now going to be a freshman in college and will be +running fire calls whenever I'm able to.

I'm really interested in getting the following:
    • Light bar across the windshield in Red/White
    • Grille lights in Red/White

Let me know if you have any for sale or know where I can pick some up for fairly cheap due to being on a pretty tight budget.

Also I'd like to know of different brands that deal with strobes, I know of Whelen? I think that's about it that I know.

    Appreciate it!

Hey Steve, Are you allowed to install red/white lights on the front of your truck? that's usually for emergency vehicles only. you might want to check with your local municipal township. where I'am from the firefighters can only use blue strobes on personal vehicles.

Check your state laws and your department's bylaws... per what you can run for lights. Every state and department is different. In NY/my county, if we're volunteer, we can only run a single blue light, forward facing, windshield mounted. Nothing else, unless you're a higher ranking officer, then you can run red and white, plus strobes. Do you're homework before you put yourself into a predicament. It's a great thing to be in a fire department, but not a great thing to be running lights that aren't authorized.

We're allowed to have a decent amount, not overkill and are only allowed to have red/white/amber and can also have corners and strobes. Appreciate the input man, will definitely look into it or just ask the chief. :D

Harbor Freight sells LED lights which you can wire up to flash/blink. Or get a LED rope. You said you wanted cheap!

True. Do you know the strobes people put in grills? They're single ones not in a bar. Can't seem to find them :(

I wouldn't drop too much cash on lights brother...remember, you still gotta follow traffic laws...unless NC is different, in which case, still don't drop too much money on them ;)

Yeah. I'd like to be able to run lights if my truck is sitting on the side of the road but oh well. There's 5 trucks sitting at the station with lights on em haha
