I am looking for one or two broken VSS/ABS sensors. I know it is half way common for people to break/streach out the lead to there sensor when they are doing suspention work and not being mindful about it. I am doing a project with a GPS tracing system that monitors different systems on semi-trucks. When I left off with it a couple years ago, I tryed it with a couple magnetic reed switches but when the cycle got to quick the switch just would not respond quick enough and that is where the abs sensor I think would excel.

So in short, all I need is that the sensor (part that goes into the spindle/hub) is intact, I don't care about the plug or wires all that much because I will be cutting and soldering that to a board. I would pay for shipping and a bit extra for your time.

I have 4 from my truck, removed for SAS. They are in good working order and aren't cheap to buy. I would cut you a deal since your project sounds cool:cool:

Shoot me a PM. I will check to see what I have on hand. I think 4 front and two rears...

Will an analog A/C signal will work for you? What are you trying to monitor? Couldn't you use the vehicle speed signal via the J1939 Datalink if measuring vehicle speed is your goal?

Ahh, OK. FWIW, new meritor wabco trailer ABS sensors only run about $30-35 for the common short-lead ones. Good luck in your search.
