I recall reading over and over that you can't get a bearing & hub complete for the 2nd gen Tacoma. I need to replace my bearings badly and started by looking at Rock Auto. It appears they have a complete assembly and it seems very cheap. Can someone confirm this is the correct part?

Yeah, I know nothing of the brand either but IF it'sactually a complete hub/bearing assembly for the cost it could be worth a try.A little skeptical though.

Just got off the phone with Rock Auto and they confirmed it is a completehub/bearing assembly for the 2nd Gen Tacoma 4x4. Comes with a 24month warranty, still skeptical but I think I’ll try it.

The Rock Auto part will require a press to separate the hub (round piece with the 6 wheel studs) from the bearing. The hub is usually not a a wear part, so it isn't worth paying the extra $190 for the full hub-bearing assembly unless you absolutely have no access to a press.

What Rock Auto calls the "hub" is the bearing housing (the cast steel square piece with four bolt holes).

to replace a wheel bearing you need 2 retaining rings, an abs control rotor, the actual bearing, a snap ring, and the outer seal/gasket.

    plus getting it all pressed
