How do you guys deflate your tires? All I have is a psi gauge, and I'm too impatient for that.

I found some of those auto tire deflators for $35, but now I can't find them. Plus I heard they don't always work well...

That's about the same as me using my psi gauge... Haha

Takes too long for me to go from 28psi to 20psi or less.

I have the arb deflator. Revokes the whole valve stem. Very fast.

And the arb inflator is awesome too

 

There is another brand that is basically the ARB inflator and deflator in one. But it doesn't have the ARB name.

I'll have to find it...

 

That ARB deflator is hands down the fastest way. I'm pretty sure 1 person could deflate 4 tires faster with that than 4 people each using a pen on 1 tire or using my auto deflators. The downside is it is a good idea to carry spare valve cores if you are going to remove them because you can damage the gaskets from removing them so many times. That's why I chose the auto deflators. I run them tell they are about done deflating and then fine tune it with my ARB inflator (i usually deflate to 20 psi and the auto's usually stop around 22 psi) Oh I should also mention I have been told my a few guys the ARB deflator gauge isnt very accurate either, but if you aren't too picky it is probably close enough.

No gauge reads the same..that said. My arbs read the exact same as my viar air compressor.

I should get some extra stems tho. Not a bad idea.

And you only go to 20psi?! Fuck. That's rough man haha

I want some of the auto deflators, but they're expensive and I don't know how to reinstall valve cores haha

just screw the valve cores in.... like a screw actually.

 

the ezdeflator pulls the core and holds in itself so you dont lose it, takes about 2 tires to get used to and than its a breeze

 

You just screw them in just like you screw them out..

Wth the deflator tool it's all contained. You screw it on to the valve stem. Then in screw the valve stem and the air pressure pops it out but it stays in the tool. Very simple to use. Very fast.

Haha I knew that, I was talking about replacing the core if I messed one up. What kind of auto deflators do you have?

I know that, I was talking about replacing the valve cores if I destroyed one haha

 

Just use the deflator to install a new one. Your tire will be dead flat in about 30 seconds so it will be easy. Then just inflat it.

 

Hmm, so put a new valve core in one of the deflators and then you could just screw it in? Cool... Haha
