    04 Tacoma 3.4 4x4 auto STOCK
    Hello Everyone,

I have posted before on here attempting to sell my older 1st which I finally did.

Now I have purchased an 04 Tacoma Extra Cab V6 4x4 auto with the E-Locker....with 123000 miles. COMPLETELY STOCK =)

Before I attempt to do any mods I would like to do fix the main issues.

When I have my left turn signal on and step on the brakes, the signal clicks like crazy. When the signal is off and I step on the brakes the left turn signal lights up on the dash.

I have checked bulbs and fuses. There are all 100%

Next, How do I check if the Rear E-Locker is working? When I had the motor on today and in Park I pressed the button and the dashlight would blink on and off.

I know there are threads already but it is a pain to locate exactly what it is.

Thank you all for the help. I will take pictures of the truck soon and post the build thread of dream truck.

Kinda sounds like the wire insulation for the brake lights and turn signals wore through and are touching? Put the truck in 4lo and then try the elocker. It can only come on in 4lo unless you do the gray wire mod. You will probably need to drive forward a few feet for the locker to engage then the e locker light should stay on and not flash.
