Many of you have already found out the hard way that in order to save $0.30 per vehicle in production costs Toyota does not put anti-seize or water proof grease on the alignment cam bolts and this can lead to flattened tabs next to the cams.

Several of mine are not flat yet but bent maybe about 30 degrees or so. I'm going to pull the old cam bolts, put in new bushings and I think I'm just going to bend the alignment tabs back into position and run a bead along side.

So, would someone without bent tabs, please measure either the internal or outside width between the front cam tabs so I can bend them back to where they should be? These are the ones Toyota calls the "toe" cams in the fsm but in reality adjust primarily camber. Really, they call them toe cams.

    Thanks.

Thanks much for your response PSU Taco85. Sounds good to me. I just noticed that the rear ones seem real close to actually touching, or close to touching, both edges of the cams.
