hey guys, im gonna be heading down to newry maine on the 26th of july, its a 3 hr drive from where i live in quebec, im going to see the new england forest rally!! anyway my question is, since ive lifted my truck, the stock jack wont be high enough to lift in case of a flat, i have brand new duratracs so i hope i wont have a problem but u never know.

now my thinking is i wish i had sliders because at our farm we have a high lift jack for tractors and such, but i have no where to lift from... i could also buy a bottle jack, or take a 4x4 or 6x6 block of wood to make a spacer, but its not too safe as the wood tends to roll... any suggestions? thx all!

There is a highlight attachment that lets you jack from the tire...Bring a jack stand along and you are set.

Seems like you would be fine with the stock jack and 265's.

The stock jack would be perfectly capable of doing it's job with a 2.5" lift. Not saying you wouldn't be better off with a Hi-Lift and jack attachments, but for tire changes you would be alright. The rear axle (lifting point for jack) has only gained maybe 1/4"- 1/2" in height because of increased tire size. The IFS would be a little different because the jack would be dealing with increased angle on the LCA's because of the lift. But once again, I think you should be fine with the stock jack. Why not try it out and see what you think?
