I have some Celica seats that I want to swap in to my truck. It will require some cutting, welding, and fabrication. I know what needs to be done, but I don't have a garage, welder, or experience with a welder.

Here's a pic tutorial of the process: The Celica seats are about 1" lower than the OE seats, so to maintain height, it's necessary to raise them an inch.

    We basically have to:

--Take the OE seats out of my truck
--Remove the feet from the bottom rails (you have to grind out the rivet that holds them to the rails)
--Remove the feet from the bottom rails of the Celica seats.
--Measure and weld the OE feet to some 1" square tube
--Once those look good and bolt in right, weld the bottom rails of the Celica seats to the newly fabbed 1" runners.
--Crack open beer and enjoy a job well done

I'll take pictures throughout and post a write up of the process.

Is there anyone out there with a welder that is willing to help? If so please PM me.
