Hello I have a 03 tacoma that was rolled on its side. Pulled it in the garage tore all damaged pieces off inspected wires for damage pulled fuel line to see if fuel pressure an indeed! Hooked handheld scan tool to obd 2 port an wouldn't read! Hooked tool to my 04 tacoma an read just fine! I also checked fire an also it has it! So fuel, air, fire.. Bang?! Soo I spray carb cleaner in filter an crank it fires till runs out.. Could this be a computer issue not telling injectors to open??! Thanks again!!

It is possible. On my fathers old 88 pickup with the 22re the computer fried and the injectors were not getting the pulse to open and close. It would turn over and crank if you sprayed in the intake.

Try resetting the ECU? The truck probably shut the injectors down when it rolled for safety.

How do I reset the ECM? I unhooked battery for period of time. Tore glove box out an unplugged computer.. :confused:The truck ran this morning for 15 minutes was smoking due to oil in exhaust where was upside down. I shut off to let cool off an wouldn't hit again. Engine sounded smooth while running no noise at all no misses. Took fuel with excelerator.

Yeah you reset it. All it takes is disconnecting the battery for a few seconds. Im stumped then, hopefully someone will know what's going on.

ECU sorry. An it must be kicking in safety mode instead of frying computer. That being said cause I had it running couple weeks ago an did same thing. Shit off an not quit an not start again. So had spare time today i thought i tinker for a few.. I tore bed off which was junk anyways. An tried to start it cranked right up like nothing ever happened.. Them all over again.. Freakin weirdo truck!!
