New member but not new to Toyota. Currently have a 2013 Scion FR-S but find I miss having a truck.

First was an 86' 4X4 Pickup. Pretty much bullet proof, wish I still had it.
    Second was a 01' Celica GT-S.
Third was a 01' Tacoma with a 3' suspension lift with a 4' body lift. Had to sell due to schooling finances.
Fourth was a 99' 4Runner SR5 V6. Greatest snowboarding vehicle out there. Told myself I would only sell if Toyota came out with another sports car..thats where the FR-S came in. Amazing car. Blast to drive..

But I find myself missing 4X4. Snowboarding, fishing, camping, Moab..I am stationed in Idaho but travel to Utah quite often. I have been looking for a while for a 2013 DC Baja and it will probably be around around $35ish before TTL.

Any advice, opinions would be appreciated.

Unfortunately where I'm going the Scion won't be much good. I took the DC Baja out for a test drive yesterday, was pretty impressed to say the least. The new suspension raises and levels the truck nicely.
Rear lockers have saved my ass more then once so i'm just trying to figure out if I should go with a TRD OR, the Baja, or an FJ.

If you plan on doing any kind of lift / suspension work I would go with a lower model. You are basically paying for the shocks and a sticker on the baja. TRD OR will get you the locker.

I've been thinking about that but one of my close friends is going to sell me his '86 Pickup which I am going go build to be my Moab truck. But I wanted something a bit more then an TRD OR for daily driver.
