transmission filter?

    Just reached 100k. Read the forum on diy flush but im wondering about the filter or"screen". Are they abled to get cleaned or replaced?

    I took mine out and ran mineral spirits thru it a few times when I changed mine. I'm pretty sure that's what the dealership foes as well.

    Not necessary. It's not a serviceable filter, just a metal screen.

    I would think that the screen would need cleaning to get whatparticles may be in there out? After 100k miles id think there would be something cought in there.
