I have a DC SR5 2012 Tacoma with 31,000 kms on the odometer. I have near new Duratracs and a hard fold up tonneau cover, nothing else.

My needs have changed and I am spending quite a bit more time in the truck and was looking for something a little more comfy. I found a 2010 SR5 4 Runner that is loaded with leather & a sun roof with 45,000 kms. Also has the full original towing package. Tires are original Bridgestones and will need to be replaced real soon.

Pricing on both is basically a wash, they are offering me $27 Canadian for my truck and they have come down to $29,000 Canadian for the 4 Runner.

It is in mint shape at a Nissan dealer and are offering me 2 years of free oil changes. I have just left them a message to see if they will throw in new tires.

    Thoughts? Thanks.

Thanks, so that is one against, but keep in mind this 4 Runner is very well equipped and is over my budget to purchase new.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
No sense in paying for something you don't like or don't want.

Get leather for your truck and get an aftermarket sunroof and you have a better vehicle then compared to a 2010 4runner

I think it depends on what you want to do with it. I'm a HUGE Runner Fan! I've owned one since 2001, BUT, I'm about to sell it and build an LT Tacoma with a 2012 I just bought. For a daily driver/mild weekend offroad warrior , I'd pick the leather 4runner. Very capable yet comfortable vehicle! I'm going Tacoma style because I wanna go fast like Ricky Bobbi in the dirt and the runner is proving to be a lot more money and time that it would be to convert a pickup. Depends on what you want to do and where you see your modifications heading. Wait...are these 4 wheel drive? If not, Grab the Runner so your groceries don't get wet.
