If I install up to a 3" lift on my 2013 taco will it void the warranty? I have the extended 100K mile warranty and don't want to lose it. Someone told me I would have to have the lift installed by a toyota dealer in order to prevent voiding my warranty. Is this true?

From what Ive been told it still voids it, Granted you would have a pretty dam good argument if the dealer installed it,

Inquire with Toyota. Dealers lie so they can make money.

Generally all issues like this are case by case. If your aftermarket X caused damage and they can reasonably prove it then usually you're screwed or about to get into a lengthy dispute.

Anyway, Toyota has the warranty card. Dealership just gets the job. Ask Toyota.
