I've looked at these wheels a lot lately and to the best of my knowledge the beadlock is for looks only.

Thanks adjustable 3" ultimate lift from ToyTec.com with rear AAL. The grill is a GrillCraft insert in a color matched grill I purchased from eBay. Took some cutting into the new grill to mount the insert but overall the install was pretty easy. I would have liked to get a Satoshi from HomerTaco but the wait on those looked crazy. Hope that helps!

Yes I opted to leave the faux beadlock off. Thoughts about powder coating them to match though

and how much cutting was involved with the 285/70? Also did you need spacers? I think my truck is going to come along faster than I originally planned :)

I just removed the rear mud flap and the front plastic flap. No spacers I did get the Light Racing UCAs and I haven't noticed any rubbing yet. I have done some playing in the hills around my house and took it down one hill pretty hard to see of it'd hit and didn't notice anything. I will need to get out with it fully flexed sometime to see if it rubs. But for casual off reading and regular road use no rubbing so far.

good to know. i've got 20K on the truck now, so not in a hurry for new treads yet. really want to go 285 but not if I have to gut the inside of the fender. TC UCA's have shipped and should be here anytime. plan on running stock wheels/tires until later this spring and not having to go spacers right now helps to.

    Mike,
What'd you do with your other wheels - the Ivan Stewarts? I really liked those on your truck!

MarkM did those wheels have the same offset/backspacing as your stock wheels or are they more or less????

I see TRD and everyone else that sells them doesn't list them as being for a Tacoma but obviously they work because you have them on yours. I saw a set on a black, stock height, Tundra last Friday at my daughters school and they looked "OK" but not nearly as good as your's does. Which lugnuts/install kit do need with these wheels on a Tacoma??

Yes ordered them from TRDparts4u.com they also had the TRD lug kit. The Tundra Rock Warrior comes with a version of these wheels I believe. Nut the 6 lugs are from a 4 runner but they work just fine on our trucks.

Anyone know what they weigh in at????

Being forged they better be lighter for that much per wheel,

    They look great though regardless!
