2009 Parking Light Housing Melting!!!

Ok,

I think this issue doesn't need much introduction. There's a plethora of people talking about it, as for example:

The thing is that the warranty doesn't cover it for considering it a "cosmetic repair"

I was wondering if you guys have any ideas or if you have sort it out via an alternate route to buying new OEM headlights at $300+ a pop!


Particularly I have been looking at Spec-D option

Any experience with these? They're about $100 cheaper than OEM!
