I have a 2012 double cab Tacoma 4x4, which came with "BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A tires(P265/70R 16). What Off-Road tire for this truck would you recommend?

Purely for off road performance or do you want one that will actually last longer than 15K miles?

Will want one that will last than 15K. Only go off-road in the fall.

BFG A/Ts wear like iron and will last you 100,000 easy. But they suck ass in winter. (This is from a Canadian, you can take that advice to the bank.)
No expert on the Duratrac but a lot of people have been running it with favourable results. However popular consensus is the sidewall is lacking a little. (If you just off road a little you'll be fine.)

I have the BFG A/Ts which I'm trying to burn through (Fucking things just don't die!) and M/Ts (Mickey Thompson MTZ's) and for winter a dedicated tire (Yoko Geolander I/T GO72.)

All depends on the terrain involved. Many tires excel in certain areas.

Thomas - What kind of off roading in the fall do you do?

Deer hunt in the fall. Travel off-road through cut corn and bean fields.

With just a quick search on the web, it seems that the selection of "off road" tires in that size is kind of limited. Only one I saw that I'd spend money on is the BF Goodrich A/T KO, as Krazie Sj mentioned above.

Also look at 265x75R16's. Fit on a stock truck perfectly fine and you'll find a wider selection of tires to choose from.
