    hey all,

Even though I no longer have the tacoma I still come here more often then any other audi sites so I figured I would get y'alls opinion.

I purchased an 07 audi A3 a few months ago, and while the standard halogen headlights it came with are pretty impressive, I am looking at upgrading them. Ideally I would like to run a set of Fx-R's, paints the housings and maybe something a little creative such as a demon eye, etc.

Anyways I got the idea of just getting some aftermarket headlights because I like the Audi led strip they are known for. Then I started figuring why couldn't I just retrofit some better projectors into a set of these...

So basically wondering if anyone has retrofitted a set of aftermarket headlights before, and or if anyone thinks its worth it or if I should just attempt it on the stock housing and make it black/grey and work some red in there.

Here is a photo of my car so you could kind of picture what it would look like.

A lot of people here swear by a proper retrofit... theretrofitsource.com is a good quality route to go.

If I had a bit more money I would gladly do a retrofit on my truck, But for now a PNP kit will do.

EDIT: Those headlights are not pretty... Just retrofit the stockers and add a LED strip. They sell the LED strips separately for your own DIY

You can even add BMW style halo's if you wanted

Thanks for the input. I've been in contact with Andrew at TRS a bit about the route i could go with it. He thinks either way would work, and im pretty set on the FRS's so its just deciding how to make everything look and finding the time to do it.
