    LoL

I've been busy with a huge garage sale and getting our home ready for sale...it's listed and I'll be one happy camper when it goes to contract.

Has anyone mounted it to the skid plate successfully? I'm in NJ, and they will pull me over for something as lame as that. The front tints don't help either. For now I have it in the front windshield on the passengers side using 4 small suction cups, metal hooks removed.

Great thread OP. I've always been a good boy and mounted front plates but couldn't stand the thought of defacing my bumper. I'd asked an aquaintance of mine county deputy what penalty for no front plate was and he hadn't a clue. Been going frontless for 9 months now and no problem. I spend most of my time in Pittsburg and Kansas is a no front state. I do go to Joplin at least a couple times a month and have never had a problem and don't know of anyone who has ever been pulled over for it. I guess I'll just keep pushn my luck and probably be really pissed when I get fined.

My dealer already mounted a frame for the front plate, so he could put a "WOW!" insert in it. Dumb. So now I have two large holes in the upper bumper, not just holes, but deformed holes jutting out 1/16" to 1/8" where the self tapping screws fit.

I'm planning to use a UK style plate. Just the right width for the upper or lower bumper. I'd prefer the upper, but what's the best way to cover or fix the holes?

Sorry to bump a thread that is almost 14 months old, but I would rather not start a full new one if this is already here.

I was wondering a little more info on where the below is mounted. Is it on the skidplate or....?
