    My 1998 TRD with manual transmission has 72K miles on it. About 10K miles ago I replaced the shocks, steering rack, inner and outer tie rods and the ball joints. I have about 10K miles on new stock tires.

    Today I measured the ride height to see if I need new springs. The truck's front end is noticeably lower than the rear.

    I measured from a point on the ground directly under the center of the front wheel hub straight up to the bottom of the fender flair, and I came up with 35 inches. The problem is that I don't know what the height is on a new stock TRD.

    If some of you who have stock trucks could make that measurement and then post back here with the model of your truck, and its mileage and the measurement. I would really appreciate it.

    My 03 DC TRD from center of hub to fender flare is 22" if that helps.

    The measurement from the center of the hub to the fender flare is going to be much more accurate. My extended cab v6 was right around 21" before my lift.

    :eek: Methinks you need new springs! Are you sure you measured from the ground, straight up through the center of the hub to the bottom of the flare?

    No, they measured from the center of the hub to the fender. Not from the ground.

    I remeasured, this time from the center of the hub to the flare.

    F = 21 inches
    R = 21.5 inches

    So I think I can save myself the work of replacing the springs.

    Thanks for the help.
