need a laptop to edit videos(gopro)

Yes they are but well worth the extra coin, any computer is capable of what you want to do. Just need the program to do it. I dont edit videos but I know they have some video editing software when you buy them. not sure if its what you need tho.

 

iMovie comes preloaded on macs. A macbook pro would be ideal, but if you can't fork up $1000-1500 then just get a regular mackbook. You'll be at around $700-1000 but well worth every penny. They will edit your videos with ease and outlast just about any PC laptop money can buy. Keep in mind I am NOT an apple fanboy. I hate iphones, iPads, iPods, and all the other apple crap. BUT, their laptops are insanely impressive and worth saving up for. You will never regret it or look back

 

Macs are PLENTY capable. Dont have a problem doing gopro vids. Made a couple videos.
