    Great Find!!! Fair Price!!
Nothing like finding what you have wanted...
Glad you found er, they are really getting Hard 2 Find!!!!!!

It took me a few months & many, many miles to find mine...

One owner 164K miles on her. I changed the timing belt, rad fluid, eng oil, installed new Brembo rotors with wagner pads & just changed out differential oil..added wheels, tires, Cali lift, & this bed cover...Not perfect inside or out but so much better than all i saw...
    Cost: 10G........

I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.
Well without knowing firsthand, I would say "God bless the old fart who bought that truck and only drove it to church and bingo."

And to the people questioning your maintenance tasks, just say DUH!. the lack of use and the age of the fluids can be as hard or harder on a car or truck.
chemicals and the components in gas, oil, and the lubs all break down over time, as well as with hoses and belts.

GREAT FIND! Only a few ever really find a once in a lifetime deal, and to me this was one.

I saw a dealer on autotrader asking 22 grand for an 03 double cab with 43K miles on it. Looked good in the pics but the price was outrageous I thought.

Can I call dibs on the parts you decide to discard, specifically the leaf springs.

I actually came across this truck on accident.. I had an 04 Tacoma PreRunner 2wd with an auto trans and about 100k on it. I was really thinking hard about converting that truck to a 4wd since i had taken good care of her. But my gf was furniture shopping on craigslist and i just happened to search real quick for a tacoma 4x4 and the guy had posted this truck about an hour before i saw it. I called him immediately and went to see it. This was about as impulsive of a decision as a person could make. To my gf's dismay i fell in love pretty quickly and we made a deal. I brought him the cash the following day when the bank was open and she was mine FOREVER! :D I just sold the 04 prerunner over the weekend for 10k so it was a nice little step up for me. No more being rescued by my buddies 05 tacoma 4x4.

I was doing a search to see what my truck is worth cause I was thinking of selling it to my nephew next year. So I went on Autotrader just to get an idea. I can no longer find the truck that I was talking about but I did find this one. It's a little pricey, I think.

That seems EXTREMELY pricey. But that may be typical dealership price.

OP, sounds like a good deal to me! Those low miles make it worth that much- oh, and it's a Toyota. :D
I would have swapped out everything like you did as well- even if the parts were still okay, it'll give you some peace of mind. Congrats on such a good deal, man- enjoy your Taco! :)

That's how you got to do it, find it and jump on it. No matter what it would have been gone that very same day, you proved that. So you're in the valley same here. Id like dips on some suspension part when your ready to set up your King's.
