Looking to put a Metra power antenna (44-PW530) on my 03 Tacoma, Have any of you guy installed a power antenna on your 1st Gen Tacoma's? any problems or issues?

I had to cut 3" off my oem antenna due to a low garage door.

03 you have to make sure you have enough room in the fender well, I think you need at least 11 to 13" depending on mfg. Do you still have the oem radio?

No, I changed the head unit to a Kenwood, the antenna needs 13" not sure about the quality of this antenna that's why I want to find someone that did this already.
