I have a 3" OME lift with top plate spacers up front and an AAL in the rear. Tires are 265/70/17 though. A lot of it comes down to how much you want to spend. DON'T be cheap about it though- you get what you pay for. I'm wishing I had done the DAKAR leaf pack in the rear instead of just the AAL when i originally did it.

I totally agree about doing it right the first time.. Cheap isn't the problem it's about making sense with what I put on the truck. I don't plan on off roading this thing hard ever.. Some dirt roads and trails when I'm camping etc maybe some slight mud nothing crazy... It's my DD so anything I do is really for looks more than capability.. With that said I want a nice ride and won't sacrifice on that.. I have no problem spending the money on parts.

Why the regrets on the AAL? I have no doubt the whole pack would be better but is there something about the AAL your not liking?[/QUOTE]

I have no problems with the AAL, but after having the lift for about a year now it seems like the back end is sagging a bit. The front seems to be slightly higher - I like having a bit of rake on there. It's not too noticeable in any photos I have now though. Mine's also just a DD as well so I understand where you're coming from on all that.

I believe I passed you on the Interstate today on route 70 going east bound right by the Jessop exit. Sharp taco brother I'm really digging it

Yeah thanks man! That was me heading back from Columbus. Awesome that you spotted me and found me on here. I'm always on the lookout for other Tacomas on the road. I've seen a few around the area lately but I don't think they are on here.

Haha I'm doing the same thing. Always scoping out everyone's ride. Not sure how I spotted you on the forum though. You have pretty much the setup I'm looking for totally honest. I'm just not sure where to start
