I guess Im the new guy on the block, just wanted to say hi to everyone and ask a question about my 2010 crew cab. Im looking to put a topper on it and was wondering what brands you all would recommend. The measurements I get are 64'x64'. It the TRD edition. Just got back from Colorado last Friday and did a bunch of off roading with it. Did Mosquito pass and half moon road by Mt.Elbert and several others over by Fairplay including Weston pass and one numbered 176# by fairplay that tested me to the max but the Tacoma went everywhere we wanted to go. Anyway Im glad I found you all and hope to learn from you all on here. BTW Im from "IOWA", land of nowhere to play but make it out west at least once or twice a year. I will try and post some pics of our trip real soon.

    Hey Roy, welcome to TW.

I have a Leer 100XQ. It was already on the truck when I bought it. However, if I were in the market for a topper, I'd look at this one. Here's a picture of my truck and topper. Hope it helps. If you're looking to buy a used topper, I've heard extra patience is the key.

Hi Riverdog, Leer is one I was looking at for sure and A.R.E and snugtop. My main concern is getting one that will hold as much gear as possible as we do self guided hunts out west that require a bunch of gear so I need all the room I can get from it. Awesome truck buddy!
