I still have them and I'm actually heading to Baltimore on the 3rd.. But with that being said. I told primer I'd check shipping prices for him. So if he doesn't buy then I'll let you know.

ok so from what i can gather just from quotes online. For measurements of 85x12x12 and 60lbs Its $122.24 but if i can squeeze it down to 85x11x11 and 60lbs it would be $48.82.. ( there is no in between if its 85x11x12 it will cost $122.24) But i don't have that exact size box.. I went to uhaul and bought two 44x15x15 boxes (It was like $20 with some bubble wrap and tape) I can try and piece together because they wanted to charge like a extra $60-70 to package themselves. I dont have exact weight of the steps thats just what i could find online.. and like i said i could try and squeeze them down to fit but idk. it might be one funky looking box.. what are your thoughts?

    Steps: $200
    Packaging: $20
    Shipping: $48.82-$122.24
    Total: $268.82-$342.24

If we can keep the total at $300 I'm in.

I was thinking if you could just wrap each one with a couple rolls of plastic wrap (Saran Wrap from the grocery store) and then put them together and wrap both together with another couple rolls of wrap. And then tape the hell out of it with a roll of 2 inch clear packing tape.

Anyway, those are my thoughts before I have my coffee this morning.

Well boo! If it doesn't work out with Primer I'm still interested. An idea to add to Primer's idea regarding shipping. At the very minimum wrap both ends with something soft, then wrap the entire thing with Saran wrap then tape the hell out of it. Might help with shipping costs.

That might work, I'd have to check ups shipping regulations. Yea I already have some bubble wrap. If they say its a go then ill get the wife's to pick some up from the store. I'd like to keep the cost down too. I want you to get a good deal. Too bad you can't just take a vacation to the burgh haha

I would like to take a road trip, but vacation time is hard to come by.

Maybe tape some pieces of cardboard to parts of the step bars that stick out, then plastic wrap. That might save them from getting bumped around.

When I bought my Avid light bar that's how it came.

    I hear ya man.

I will make sure to make it all pretty:) i wouldn't want anything to get damage. I know what its like to buy something then receive it broken or damaged.. Hence my Enduros i just ordered.. Really frustrating.. Anyways enough of me venting lol

Ok well ill call my post office and see what they can do ( or Ups Ect..).

    Arrived, unpacked and installed!

Josh, great wrapping job! The steps arrived in perfect condition. I touched up a few little spots and bolted them on.

You are a stand up guy and I would not hesitate buying from you again.

    Thanks.

Thanks! Haha sorry I used so much tape!! Bet you had a fun time taking it off! The whole time I was wrapping it I was thinking its gonna be a headache taking off but I'd rater it arrive in one piece. Glad you like em! They look awesome on your truck! Again thank you for being such a great buyer! It takes two to do good business and I'm glad we are both happy.
