Finally got around to starting my Mini H1 retro fit and ran into a possible issue. I have the mini gattling gun shrouds with the 70mm XBled angel eyes. The XBled's are a smaller diameter than the front lip of the shroud and my question is will this end up blocking some of the light from the projectors? When I placed my order on the last group buy these where the XBled's that were sent with my kit. I ground down the slight lip on the front of the shrouds so the XBled's will sit flush. Thanks in advance.

    It'll be fine.
The projected light is concentrated near the center of the lens.

Somehow I figured I would here from you Rich. Got lots of great info from your posts preparing for this retro fit. Guess I can finish scuffing up these shrouds and get ready to paint them. Thanks for the help!

Too bad there's no way to mount those halos behind the face of the shrouds.
That's one reason I've avoided them... takes away from the look when they are off.
I've got the Apollos on mine. I have the Gatling 2.0 and G37-R for my wife's Rav4... haven't done her install yet.
Got the housings a couple of weeks ago, but our oven is not working. I need to look at those housings and see if I can split them without cooking.
