Air bag seems to be expanding

stock 2006 4x4 TRD Sport

Tonight I was driving home when I was driving I laid my hand on the top of the wheel and noticed a good size gap between the wheel over and the wheel itself, i don't know if the airbag is starting to deploy or what? Anyone else have this issue?

The gap is normally about 10mm. You need some room for movement to use the horn.

EDIT: I used some calipers and measured mine to be about 6mm. Still, the gap is normal.
