Hey guys. I've decided on the wheels and tires I'm gonna get in the next few weeks. I've decided on Dick Cepek DC-2 16x8 and Dick Cepek LT265/75/R16 mud country. Now if I get them from 4wheelparts and get the mounting and balancing, will I don't think they will come with the tpms. If that's the case my tpms light will be on all the time and will drive me nuts. So, what do you guys suggest? I'd like to get them already on the wheels so all I got to do is put them on the truck myself.

Since you have TPMS I'll assume you have a 2nd gen, in which case 4wp will most likely not sell you any 16" wheel due to the size of the brake caliper. If you have stock alloy wheels, the TPMS sensors will swap onto other alloy wheels. Steel wheel TPMS sensors will probably need a "strap kit" for the sensors. Any decent tire shop should be able to swap the sensors no problem.

Where do you guys recommend? It's an 06 Tacoma TRD OR with stock wheels. I was going to get tires and wheels already mounted so when there delivered I can put them on myself.

I bought a few sets of wheels from summit racing, and tires wherever I find the cheapest price. You can have them mounted/balanced locally and install them yourself.

Edit; but then there's the issue of the TPMS. Your better off letting a local shop install them.

Is there a local 4WP shop near you? You have them drop ship to them and have the mount and balance.

Another option would be tire rack. They carry the wheels and you can pick any tires you like. You can have them drop ship to one of their authorized installers in your area and they can swap over your TPMS.

No 4wp around here. I'll check out the tire rack thing. Thanks.
