The cats are covered under the federally mandated emissions warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles. If you are in that range, head on down to your local dealer and get them to install new cats.

If you have headers installed you should remove them and reinstall the stock manifold before you go to the dealer. If you have a 4.0 and installed the short tube headers they will not cover it under warranty since you modified the cat. So, you could do this:

How do you know the problem was not the O2 sensors? Reading the PDF for codes P0420 and P0430 says you should replace:

    - A/F Sensor
    - O2 Sensors
    - or Cats.

I just had these 2 codes display. Should I replace the O2 sensors first or just take it to the dealer for the cats?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Sometimes you will also get a code for the the sensor. 420 and 430 mean the sensors are reading identical or very close and generally means the CAT's are toast. There are several codes for the sensors failing (circuit malfunction, low voltage, high voltage, slow response, no activity detected and heater circuit malfunction).

Another cause for these codes is an exhaust leak. Have you checked for one?
