Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I ran full OME or about 6-8 months, and just recently swapped my coilovers out for Icons. The improvement in ride quality is very noticable, makes me wish i went with icon from the beginning. I love the dakars though, and i cant wait to see how they ride when i upgrade to icons in the rear. OME is a solid setup, its designed to take some abuse, the front just rode a little to stiff for me.

so you were full OME, now you have Icon coilovers in the front and nitrocharger w/Dakars in the back, and your going to get Icon rear shocks and run them with the Dakars?

I would love to hear a comparison of the straight OME vs. Icon + Dakars in the rear.

I'm pretty much set on Icon stage 1 (maybe 2) but I don't know what to do with the rear leafs. I'm not sure if Dakars will work with Icon shocks and if they do what is the ride quality like? There seem to be a ton of options for AAL but I've not been able to figure out what the best setup would be. (Best means street + light off road like OP's looking for)

I have a '12 with the 4 leaf pack (so I guess this means TSB from the factory).

Funny thing is that the OME nitrocharger shocks are not even long enough to work with the Dakar's...We have had a few people swap to the Icon's we offer for them, and they get a few more inches of droop out of them, and a way better ride.
