Hey guys, I'm fairly new to the Tacoma world. I've always been a tuner guy.

My last car was a 350Z.

So my current issue is this. I bought my Taco, with the intents of using it as a car hauler/mild off road. I've seen a lot of LT Taco's here and I really love the way they look and the way the perform. However, I am stationed in NC and there is no desert around or anything remotely close to a desert. So, being here for the next 2 1/2 years, doing a LT setup seems kind of dumb. Not to mention really expensive. So here are some of my options i've thought out.

    1. OEM Suspension, TRD Sport Hood, Sport Bumper, Bushwhacker fenders, BFD's on 285/65's
-Then save up for another 350z

    2. Go Mid Travel, with Glasswork Fenders, TRD Sport Hood and rear Bumper, Tube Front bumper
    -Then save up for a MR2 or SC300 :)

    3. LT with Option 2
-Commit all available funds to Taco no project car :(

I know its my choice and so on and so forth. But, I'd really like to hear what you guys have to say.

Well, I'm kind of leaning towards the whole Mid travel because, it seems like it could give me the best of both worlds. Still allowing me to tow a "toy" and have some fun in the sand....whenever that might be, being in NC and all.

Sweet looking Tacoma! My co-worker has a bright red Tacoma like that. Anyway... as for a mid-travel kit... I would suggest our 2.5 performance kit. And it definitely is the best of both worlds! The kit comes with uniball UCAs, and f/r shocks. It is all bolt on to stock location and do not require any modification such as fenders or bedsides. The 2.5 kit will provide you with a 2.5" lift, while our uniball UCA will correct the geometry and increase the usable wheel travel. No only will this improve your ride quality for daily driving and off road but will allow you to run a bigger tire, we suggest like a 33" tire with a MAX backspacing on the wheel 4.50" to prevent any kind of rubbing.
This 2.5 "mid travel" kit also includes our Camburg 2.5" coilover shocks and the Bilstein 5100 rear shocks. Our products are made in house and only made with US air craft grade hardware. Not to mention it also looks awesome. ;)

This kit is $1,999.00 and we also have a military discount!

Thanks, I like the color. Idk, just got a thing for red i.e my previous car. Anyway, that is a pretty good price for everything. I mean coils, shocks, UCA's. I might have to hit you up on that if I decide to go Mid Travel.
