I have a friend of mine that has a 2005 4dr prerunner and I have a 2013 4dr prerunner. I have the Dunlop tires and he has Michelins.

I loaded the bed of my 2013 truck with a lot of rubber mats (no idea on the wt.) and I noticed the back of the truck was pretty loaded--not safe for the road--but we were on private property with a small distance to travel.

We loaded his 2005 with the EXACT amount and his truck did not appear to be overloaded. They were all loaded in the same fashion--no room to spare.

They were both on the same level ground---the only difference are the tires and the model years. He has factory suspension with 85000 miles on it.

    What gives????

I read the thread that discusses this, but the dealership told me there wasn't a TSB for my 2013.

On a more serious note you said identical trucks except model year, is it possible that there are any suspension differences?
