Just acquired a new 2013 Tacoma Access cab 4X4 with the 16" alum wheels and W/P 245/75R 16 Tires. I am thinking about a set of the TRD Off-road 16" Bronze Wheels (they look GOOD!). What I need to know is if the TPS will fit and work with these wheels and 2nd, if the Tires will go the extra 1/2" in width and still be OK? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am now going to put on my Fire-proof underwear!

Congrats on your new truck! Going from aluminum wheels to aluminum wheels, your TPMS should transfer right over. It's only when you go from steel wheels to alloys or vice versa that you run into problems.

For the most part, a 245/75/16 is usually approved for 6.5-8" wheels so I'm going to say that you'll be ok there as well. To be sure, look up the specs of your tires on the tire manufacturer's website and check out the recommend wheel width range for that size. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply! Great to get some feedback from a fellow Toyota owner. I have already ordered the TRD Bronze wheels and lug nut sets. I will try and post some pictures of them on the new truck as soon as I can get them mounted. TJ
