I am looking into putting billy 5100 all around. think I have the front figured out. But as for the back, it seems the 5100 rear shocks are compatible with anything from factory height up to 1" of lift from what ive seen on autoanything.com. problem is im thinking of replacing the factory leafs with a skyjacker leaf pack that adds 1.5" to 3" of lift. sooooooo. the rear billys wouldn't work then?

I believe 5100's can go up to 2.5". I am thinking of doing 5100's all around as well, but no lift.

yes the front are adjustable to 2.5". my question is the 5100 REAR shocks which from what ive seen can accomadate up to a 1" rear lift. if im going with a more stout leaf pack or AAL that goes above 1" say 1.5" or more of rear lift. will the rear 5100's work with that even though it seems there only rated for 1" of lift

You could run into problems, IMO. If the shock becomes the "limiting factor" of your downward (or upward for that matter) travel, and you happen to have the truck in that type of situation (flexing hard on a trail) than you will damage the shock. It is very important to size the shocks for the amount of lift; meaning an oem standard shock my safely operate from 10-14", but you install new leafs which make the new operating range 12-16". No bueno my friend.

For specifics I would recommend talking to a rep from DSM or Wheelers, and they can ensure you get the proper sizing for whatever leaf pack or AAL you want to install.

No problem! There's a set of 5100's w/ your name on them, just gotta make sure they are the right length! Good luck!
