Tacoma Wave?

idk i have a dc but i could live with an ac 2nd gen, but in 4 years i will have a job and ill prob get a reg cab to wheel

 

I'll just keep my hand on the wheel and lift up two fingers.

 

I won't have my jeep anymore to wave...but we still have the corvette wave.

I tried the tacoma wave thing, but the old men driving take too long to process the electrical signals in their brains to get their arms up in time to wave back.

If I see a taco that's decked out, I'll wave but for everything else....they just don't GET IT.

 

I used to have a heep, and of course, not everyone that owned one waved back to me...whatever. I was actually thinking about posting up on this some time ago....anyway, I wave to everyone around here with a tacoma, but, being where it is...they just don't get it, SURPRISE!
My wife tells me that it's not the same as the jeep, but do I listen to her??? the answer my fellow taco owners is........NO

 

Sounds like everyone has made a valiant effort but their are a lot of jack a@$es out there. Like I said, I'm at least going to try it for the first little bit. If they don't wave after a while, I'll just give them the one finger wave from the steering wheel.

 

Ever since I got my Taco, I've been wanting to wave at other Tacos but I don't end up doing it. Here in the valley we have both American and Mexican Tacomas, so I'm sure I'd get plenty of weird stares.

Anybody in the RGV sees a big scary looking guy in a 09 Tacoma feel free to wave, I'll give ya wave or nod back!

and I know how ya feel about the need to express a little common brotherly love-but honestly-people are so miserable now that they can't handle a little kindness directed at them I'm like GEES pardon ME all to hell I won't do it again and i never did again.

Wave over the steering wheel... it was odd last week, I noticed I was in a procession of 5 Tacomas and 1 T100, all in a row.

1st gen, 2nd gen, 2nd gen (me), T100, 2nd gen, 1st gen

Freaky...

When we got to the light the back two came up in the second lane and we all noticed each other and nodded/waved and drove on.

 

i usually wave at other toyota 4wd/prerunner owners
even if there not driving a taco

There was this silver 04 tacoma behind me on the highway for a bit today. It had an aftermarket winch (silver) bumper on it. I tried to slow down so they'd catch up to me...but they were going really slow (like, not even the speed limit) - they turned off the next exit anyway.

I would've given him/her a salute....
