Hi all, I am new to the forum and to the Toyota Tacoma. I just recently purchased a 2010 reg cab PreRunner. It is a 4 cyl 5 speed and I love it. Just had the clutch replaced under warranty for a bad pressure plate and throwout bearing with just 33000 miles on it. I love the truck and any pointers or suggestions would be great. Iv been a GM guy all my life, and have lost my faith in them over the years. I have a buddy of mine who has a 94 taco with 200000 miles on it and its still going strong just with regular maintenance and tune ups. I will post pics of mine soon, and I cant wait to get me some TRD wheels for it.

P.S. quick question, when starting it seems to crank for a bit longer than I am used to with my other vehicles before it actually fires. Is this normal? It runs perfect just curious if the 2.7 is known to take a few extra cranks.

    Thank you all!

Totally normal. These trucks take forever to crank. Lol. Welcome to the boards.

awesome good to know! Thank you! Im glad the dealership put the Aisin clutch in it, I heard the Luk clutches were bad. Only thing I dont like is how much softer it feels.
