Do you think this is a good investment 2000 toyota tacoma xtra cab 6 cylinder
$6995 not including taxes and fees from the dealer that has 179,000 miles on it?
i dont have 15,000 to spend, i only drive about 10,000 miles a year? what do you think? Is that way to high in milage? How long do these trucks last miles wise?

How long if taken care of would this truck last miles wise?

Sounds like a decent deal if its clean. My 03 has a 146k on it and runs beautifully

My 98 is at 282,000 miles and purrs like a kitten. As long as it's mechanically sound, it'll run till the apocalypse.

If its clean and the frame is good, I'd go for it, at 179,000 it's just being broken in, I have a 92 pre taco and it has over 300k miles and no problems what so ever

Make sure that the timing belt's been done, and check ALL over for oil leaks. If its in great mechanical shape I think that's a decent price. My 98 3.4 is about to hit 200k and it runs great

There is a local Ford dealer in my neck of the woods that has the same truck with 189,000 on it listed for $9600. If it's a West coast truck, clean, no rust, and has been maintained properly...I'd say $6995 is a really good deal.
