    Hey guys,

Chasing down a no spark/no fuel issue yesterday and while cleaning distributor connector I noticed one of the teeth was missing on the male end attached to the distributor. Is this a deal breaker? Could I Jerry rig this some how? It is the ground wire if that helps? My distributor has a slight oil leak which is why i started there and why I'm assuming the connector was so fragile (looked a little corroded inside).

Trying to avoid buying a NEW distributor just because of the connector.. HELP!

How is it a no spark and no fuel issue? Did you check to see if each cylinder is getting spark? If not then that missing prong might just be your issue

I guess I didn't check EVERY cylinder for spark just the one (will check all later). Just a quick check on the wire that goes to fuel pump shows no power to pump as well.. Most are saying crank position sensor, just want to find the REAL issue before I start buying parts. ESPECIALLY when now I see that i've got a broken connection to the distributor, guess I can ground it another way for a quick fix.. Oh and the best part, NO codes... More to follow...

Would a crapped out distributor cause fuel pump not to pump?

I don't think it would, maybe it blew the fuse for efi? Did you check fuses? Is there another thread with all this on it already I didn't see haha
