Well......Had some more bad luck with my online purchases lately (I purchased a non working light with the treklights group buy)

Saved up for a few months and purchased this skid plate from a member here 4 days ago for my truck for just under $300 with shipping....

Received it 2 days ago, went to install it yesterday and after being under my truck trying to get the bolts to reach I realized the reason they aren't long enough is because the front passenger side corner is bent.....

Gouged up the plastic part of my bumper pretty bad while under it trying to get it to mount up....

Seller did not insure it for enough to cover replacement cost or repair and instructed me to try pliers and a towel

I spent $300 on this and my truck has 8K miles....I wanted it to be perfect.

I would like to cut my losses, the edge that is damaged does have powder coating missing on the corner, so small I didn't notice it....

My buddy said he could straighten it but he would have to heat it up and re powder coat the entire skid...(would cost around $100)

This is the front leading edge and pretty much the only part on the whole skid that has to be super straight and clean because it sits right under the bumper....

Lets start at $250 or trade for something I can sell to cut my losses (pretty much anything of equal value).....

Located in Orange County California, prefer local pickup but I will drive 100 miles for the right trade (super bummed and want this thing out of here)........Please PM with offers.....Thanks Warren
