Radio cuts out when headlights turn on

    '98 Prerunner V6--2004 Tacoma facelift
    K&N cold air intake FPIK, FlowMaster 40 series muffler, Euro Diamond clear headlights, 2003 tacoma tailights, bixenon HID headlights, 4 inch lift, pioneer headunit w/kicker door speakers(amped w/Rockford four channel), 2004 facelift, led dash light mod, painted needles, black auto shifter, leather steering wheel, ultra gauge. Plenty to come... Still
    I have installed a set of HID headlights in my 98, and when I flip them on while I have my iPod plugged into the front USB and playing, the radio acts like its not connected for a second when I flip the headlight switch on. I can't determine why the headlights would cause the radio to do this

    High intensity ballast causes short wave frequency...resulting in losing signal to the radio

    Okay, so it's not any kind of wiring error that I should be worried about?
