Hi All. Hoping someone can advise. I have a company sign I want to non-permanently apply to my driver's door, in order to park in commercial zones in town. (A meter maid told me if I have a sign I can walk away form the car in loading and commercial zones). I just want to occasionally slap it on there then pull it off.

Will magnetic tape (adhesive side to sign/magnetic side to door) work? If so, any recommendations? The two on Home Depot's website have bad reviews from customers, saying they have no magnetic power.

At one point I bought some from Staples or Office Max, can't remember which, but it seemed to work pretty well for just that purpose. It's the stuff used on magnetic white boards.

Thanks. I was just near an office depot a few minutes ago, right near my house. I will check it out.

id say screw the magnetic tape, you'll be better off by getting a magnetic sign, so once you pull it off there's nothing left, unlike tape that will leave two ugly tape strips behind
