I'm considering upgrading my front suspension. I'm considering going from Bilstein 5100's to Icon 2.5 in coil overs.

My Bilstein 5100's are set at 1.75 with the factory off-road TRD springs. I do not have issues with my alignment (caster) or vibrations right now. I really like the way it handles right now, but I came across a good deal on used Icons. They will need rebuilding which I already priced out.

I may end up getting them rebuilt and selling them depending on your feedback. I do not want to drop another $400-$800 to get a UCA + alignment if the difference is minimal. I drive 95+% on pavement. I do drive to construction sites here and there and I also drive on roads in very bad shape for my work.

Has anyone gone from 5100's to Icons 2.5 in coil overs? What was this upgrade like? Is it worth it? I'm most interested in hearing feedback about the on-road handling difference going from 5100's to Icon front coil overs.

    Thank you!
