TRD supercharger, URD 2.85" stealth pulley, TRD exhaust, TRD intake, DTLT headers, URD y-pipe, TRD boost gauge, PLX DM100 touch with OBDII and SM-AFR modules, 885 OME 3", Icon UCAs, Satoshi grill, Solid rear window, SCS stealth 6, 285/75/17 toyo AT2.
Back to the original topic...the trd supercharger is ok and many people fell letdown by the hype. BUT, add on the intake/headers/exhaust and pulley combo and now yiicr got a fast and still reliable truck that'll walk most cars on the street.

    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
    I agree 100%.

Don't get me wrong, a well sorted one-off built and tuned turbo Tacoma is badass.

But people dont realize it's not just welding pipes, changing injectors & installing an FPR, then slapping on a turbo... -or- simply installing a "kit." That's half the work.

The magic happens on the tuning side.

Now factor all that in for someone who dd's their truck & uses it as a truck. Practicality is out the window no matter how sweet it's running.

As Matt said, trd s/c alone leaves a lot to be desired to some people, hell even me. But open up the exhaust, intake, and a mild pulley and reassess...it's a lot power IMO for a midsize truck.

SC w/urd pulley, afe cai, URD LT's, TRD cat back. 375hp. Custom logos, tonneau cover, westin bar with piaa lights, aero force gauges, custom front air dam, Westin step bars.
Lemon & SW- that's the kind of info I was looking for!

As mentioned, I've done the turbo thing on a truck and it was deep pocket city to make it work, and that was mostly for the qtr mile. For me it took a large part of the usability out of the truck. I'm not looking to go that route again. Just a good running, completely usable truck that has plenty of zip to pass and tow when needed.

I can always get in the 640hp camaro if I want to get crazy. 325hp at the crank in a Tacoma should be plenty for what I have in mind. Thanks!
