how much power is reliable with s/c

    So I have the supercharger and bought a cai and full exhaust system, and now find myself looking at a urd 2.8 pulley and better fuel pump. So I'm wondering if I buy the pulley and fuel pump will my truck still be reliable and will i still be able to drive where ever I want without worrying. I plan to put about 10,000 miles a year on the truck. Just wondering if any one with this kind of setup has put a bunch of miles on the truck with no problems, thanks.

    If you balance the increase in demand with the proper fueling you should be fine. Are you running an aftermarket EMS? How about boost and AFR gauges?

    In that case I would get the sensors set up first to make sure your AFR is good under boost. Then you can push up the boost and see what happens. Then look at the aftermarket EMS if you have issues from there...

    I have graphs added up the highest HP TRD S/C in the F/I link in my Sig.

    Like Brunes said, with proper supporting mods, you can increase the power quite a bit.

    The only thing that will lessen the life very fast, will be raised RPMs on the factory rods. They are inherently weak. So if you did get an aftermarket EMS, don't raise the rev limiter, unless you have internals. Luckily though, www.Dezod.com does have Molnar and Brain Crower rods for only $600.

    On a reflash only, TRD S/C with other supporting mods, I have seen 9 psi regularly (with FPR mod), on a vehicle that lived on the factory redline (it is a drift race truck) and had no problems.

    So what sensors should I get to help support the pulley and exhaust system? And I still don't know anything about reflash, would I have to get another one after I put all the new stuff on?

    If you have the TRD reflash for the s/c, then that is all you can get. One and done.

    Sensors, refers to an AFR gauge, boost gauge (primary two), fuel pressure, and oil pressure. Or any other gauges that you want.
